DAV accepting clothing
Each Wednesday DAV is accepting good used clothing from 9am-noon at 1522 South Valley, New Ulm

Greeting cards
Every Tuesday morning at 9 am you are needed to join the volunteers who gather at the New Ulm Community Center to make beautiful greeting cards. New volunteers are welcome...no skills required. CAST also welcomes all your old greeting cards to be recycled. Drop off those cards in the box outside the door at 600 N German, New Ulm.

"Golden Sneakers"
Vogel Fieldhouse - Monday and Wednesdays...9:30 - 10:30 am. CAST and the United Way of New Ulm with the Park and Recreation of New Ulm offer this conditioning class for Senior Men and Women. There is no charge for this class. Call 354-3212 for more information.

"Stay Active"
New Ulm Community Center, Tuesday and Thursday, 10:30 - 11:15. A second option for those seeking a lower impact class sitting down. Seniors maintain strength and flexibility. Equipment provided. Call 354-3212 for more information.

Current Events Discussion Group
Every Friday from 9:30 - 10:30 am, a current events discussion group, sponsored by CAST will be held at the Community Center in New Ulm. Join us and share your opinions of local, national, and international events. The coffeepot is on! For information, contact Diane at 354-3212

Bar Bingo
Thursday at 7 pm, American Legion, New Ulm, 16 games each night including a $500 pot and a progressive pot starting at $300, increasing to a maximum of $1000. Light lunch from 5-6:30 pm each Thursday. Including a linked cover-all game.

Every Friday night October 5 thru April (except holiday weekends). 7:30 pm at the Lafayette Community Center. Free coffee, must be 18 years of age. Sponsored by the Lafayette Area Lions Club

New Ulm Area Brain Injury Support Group
The May monthly meeting for the New Ulm Area Brain Injury Support Group has been canceled. We will meet again as usual in the conference room at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm on Saturday, June 7, at 2 pm. We meet to provide one another with support and encouragement for living after/with brain injury.

Chorale Spring Concerts "Come to the Fair"
Prairie Arts Chorale, a vocal ensemble of 30 singers from southwest MN under the direction of Dr. Patricia Kazarow, announces their spring series of concerts "Come to the Fair". Concerts will be held on Friday, May 9, at 7:30 pm at Marshall Middle School in Marshall; and Saturday, May 10, at 7:30 pm at the Central MN Christian School gymnasium in Prinsburg

Brown Bag Lunch Series

German-Bohemian Heritage Society
Annual Spring Meeting, May 17, program by Robert Paulson, "The Earliest German-Bohemian Immigrants to Minnesota". It will be held at Turner Hall, 102 S State, New Ulm. 5 pm social with dinner at 6 and program at 7pm. Deadline for tickets is May 7 so Turner Hall can plan for food.
