      7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

WILLMAR, MN – The third annual “Putting on the Ridge” fine arts celebration is set for Thursday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. at Ridgewater College, Willmar Campus Fine Arts Building.

This night of music, art and acting is free and open to the public and is sure to tickle and inspire your art-appreciation side.

New this year will be a live, “improv in painting” activity where a group of about a dozen students will hit the stage with their paints and brushes to create a collaborative large painting.

Also new this year, see some of your favorite Disney characters come to life in song during several Disney movie selections, including “Frozen,” “Beauty and the Beast”, “The Lion King,” “Pocahontas,” and many more.

As tradition has it, the student-driven night of entertainment will also include comedy acting sketches and improv, as well as art displays featuring paintings, drawings and more.
