      HALLOWEEN SCAVENGER HUNT 
       
      Halloween mischief makers have hidden pumpkins, witches cauldrons, scarecrows, and other Halloween decorations throughout the museum building and its exhibits. Children are invited to find these and learn more about the museum and local history on Saturday, October 25th; from 10:00am to 12:00 pm. Participants can enjoy treats and small prizes. Admission is free during this time, regular admission price will resume at noon. Parents and interested adults are also invited to provide suggestions for future museum programming for children and families at the BCHS Annex from 9:00am to 10:00 am. Coffee will be served until the Scavenger Hunt begins.
       
      The Brown County Historical Society Museum will provide free admission to children and adults on Saturday, October 25th from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Visitors can also view the award-winning third floor U.S.-Dakota War exhibit, selected works of author and illustrator Wanda Gag on the second floor and discover agriculture of the past with the first floor Century Farm exhibit. Regular admission prices will resume at noon. For further information, call Meghan at 233-2616.

      The Wabasso Public Library is having its annual Holiday Craft Fair, luncheon, book sale and silent auction on Sunday, November 2 from 10:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Wabasso Community Center.  A lunch of hot turkey and BBQ sandwiches with homemade desserts will be served from 11:00-1:00. There will be a variety of vendors this year for your early Christmas shopping needs. This is a fundraiser for the Wabasso Public Library.
