      Start off your weekend with the fire department supper fundraiser and lawn mower racing on Friday evening.

      Then join the chicken color fun run and fitness walk, kids pedal pull, cow pie bingo, scavenger hunts, flea market, Music on the stage, a big tractor pull, music by the band attitude then Fireworks over the lake.

      Sunday morning there is a big breakfast, followed by a bean bag tournament and then enjoy the music of rook at Buckshot’s on Sunday evening.

      The Glencoe Lions Club “Music In The Park” series continues on Wednesday, July 6 at Oak Leaf Park, Shelter #2. 

      Free live music, sponsored by Security Bank & Trust Company, features Allen and Matt Carlson. They are a father & son duo from Hamburg, MN, who share a passion for instrumental and vocal music, especially classic country, gospel, and hymns.

      The Glencoe Lions will be serving a meal with a shredded beef or a pulled pork sandwich, chips, pickles, dessert and beverage at a nominal fee from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the music beginning at 6:30 p.m.

      Bring your lawn chair and Bring a Friend!  Collection boxes for used eyeglasses and hearing aids will also be available.

      Thanks for your support of the Glencoe Lions Club—Proceeds go to local Community Projects.
