    1. Junior Pioneers Annual Meeting
      6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

      The Junior Pioneers will hold it’s Annual Meeting on Friday, September 29,
      at Turner Hall, 102 North State Street, New Ulm. The evening will begin
      with a social hour at 6 p.m., business meeting at 6:30 p.m., and a dinner
      at 7 p.m. followed by the program.

      Reservations are due by Tuesday, September 26.  Tickets are $25 each. Send
      checks to Junior Pioneers, P.O. Box 22, New Ulm, MN 56073. Call Lisa
      Besemer at 507-766-1991 or email her at lisabesemer@newulmtel.net with
      questions.

      The program this year will be “Brown County Fair, 1917 to 2017.” This
      presentation will be by Dan Hoisington who wrote the book entitled “Meet
      Us at the Fair: A History of the Brown County Fair”, in 2017 to
      commemorate the sesquicentennial of the Fair.

      Dan will speak about who helped create this fair, known to be one of the
      best in Minnesota for county fairs.  He will also take us down memory lane
      of past events, including a year the fair was cancelled, popular country
      groups that performed and more!

    2. The Junior Pioneers Annual Meeting
