−Hanska Women of Today ‘UFF DA 5K Walk/Run”8:00 am – 9:00 am
Join the Hanska Women of Today and the United Way of Brown County as they walk and run to help the Imagination Library and Youth Activities Scholarship Programs.
The Hanska “UFF DA Just for Fun Walk and Run” will be held on Saturday, May 18, at the Hanska City Park. Forms are available at the Hanska City Office or you can register the day of the race, starting at 8am.
There will also be a kids walk and fun at 10:30am and the Hanska City Park.

−Tri-County Household Hazardous Waste Collection9:00 am – 2:00 pm
The Tri-County Household Hazardous Waste Collection will be at the City of St. Peter located at 400 West St. Julien Street on Saturday, May 18 from 9am-2pm. This is for residents in LeSueur, Sibley and Nicollet Counties only!
No business waste or used motor oil will be accepted. Call Tri-County Solid Waste at 507-381-9196 for more information.

Come and have fun and dance at the MMHF Fundraiser on Sunday, May 19, 12-6pm at Turner Hall in New Ulm.
Upper Level
12pm – Adam Munsterman Band
1:15pm – Smiley Wiltscheck and Friends
2:30pm – Jake Bastyr Band
3:45pm – Donnie Klossner “Music mit Herz”
5pm – Wendinger Band
Lower Level – Concertina Jamboree beginning at noon
Nancy Buckentine, Master of Ceremonies
Keith Eckstein, Leo Lentz and Friends on drums and tuba.
Free admittance for concertina, button box, and accordion players performing at the Jamboree.
All musicians have donated their time and talent to this event. Food and beverage are available. All proceeds used for the MMFH Museum.

Braun & Borth Electronics and Appliance Recycling Day will be held Wednesday, May 22, 12-6pm at the Sleepy Eye Baseball Parking Lot.

Free items – keyboards; speakers; mouse; cell phones; land line phones; ipods; air conditioners; dehumidifiers; humidifiers; freezers; refrigerators; dishwashers; microwaves; stoves; washers; dryers; hot water heaters; furnaces; water softeners; trash compactors; garbage disposals; water coolers; vending machines.
Small appliances, such as blenders, toasters and irons will be accepted free.
