      New Ulm Women’s Literary Club is sponsoring two Mitten Trees in
      New Ulm. One is located at the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce and
      the other in Alliance Bank at 322 North Minnesota Street.
      Donors may bring mittens, gloves, scarves or head gear to either
      place now through December 14 th . On December 15th Sertoma Club
      members will be picking up the items for its Santa’s Closet program.

       Student attends the one day classroom review and riding performance course lead by trained volunteer instructors
       Riding Performance Class fee $5.00.
       Class will be held December 2nd @ 8:00 a.m. at the River Valley Dutchmen Club House, Essig, MN

      Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre CD Premiere

      New Ulm native, Kraig Windschitl, (son of Curt and Joanne) will present a free organ concert, 3pm, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, New Ulm, MN, Dec 3, 2017. This concert is in partial celebration of the Noodle pipe organ. Kraig holds degrees in music from the Perpich Center for Arts, Saint John’s University, and Indiana University, resulting in the Master of Sacred Music. Kraig most recently served as Organist in Residence at the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre/Tomb of the Risen Christ. Through permission of the Holy Land Franciscans, Kraig was fortunate enough to be the first American to produce a CD celebrating the 3 pipe organs of the Basilica, “SOUNDS from the SEPULCHRE” available for purchase after the concert. Currently Kraig serves as Director of Traditional Music/Organist at Wayzata Community Church, where he plays on the Magnum Opus Hendricson tracker pipe organ. In Wayzata, Kraig succeeds Diana Lee Lucker, long time mentor and friend. Kraig will play solo organ repertoire of JS Bach, Mendelssohn, Lucker, Biery, and Vierne. Festive reception to follow in Leifeld Hall.
