      How to get your poker hand?
      Each Friday a route will be set up with 5 different businesses who will handing out your poker hand one card at a time.  By the end of the route, you will not only have a poker hand but a mile walk in!

      How do you know the route?
      Routes can be found on the New Ulm Chamber’s Facebook page or printed copies can be picked up at the New Ulm Chamber office 

      How to win?
      Hands must be registered at the New Ulm Chamber office and will be tallied  the following Monday.  The top four hands each week will receive a prize and an entry into a grand prize drawing to be held after the final week.

      The grand prize will be a 6 month membership to a New Ulm Fitness Club of your choice or equivalent value for a personal trainer of your choice (valued at $250)

       Musician, Bill Cagley, who plays “music for all ages” will be performing at the Harkin Store

      on May 27th from 1 to 4 pm.  Bill sings and plays guitar, mandolin, banjo and harmonica.

      He has performed many years at the Harkin Store and at many other historical sites.  He 

      will also have his daughter, Sarah, join him in singing and will also be doing Appalachian 

      clogging.  Come and listen to this great program on our porch or bring along a blanket or 

      a lawn chair.


      The admission to the program is included with the admission to the store.  


       We are also in road construction on Nicollet County Road 21 so follow the detour signs or

      call the store when open for directions at 1-507-354-8666.  The store is located nine miles

      northwest of New Ulm on Nicollet County Road 21, or the bottom road, or nine miles east

      of Fort Ridgley.  Nicollet County Historical Society operates the store.

      Tickets are on sale now.  All proceeds benefit C.A.S.T. Senior Programming.  Tickets may be purchased from any C.A.S.T. Board member, from the C.A.S.T. office at 507-354-3212 or the New Ulm Chamber.
