      Friday, March 6 is World Day of Prayer 2015.  World Day of Prayer is an ecumenical celebration of informed prayer and prayerful action.  Join in the prayer service written by the women of The Bahamas, which draws us into a study of Jesus’ radical love as he washes the disciples’ feet.  This service is sponsored by Council of Catholic Women at St. Mary’s Church in Sleepy Eye on Friday, March 6 at 1pm.

      Saturday March 14
      at the Youth Coliseum at the Brown County Fairgrounds in New Ulm

      This event teaches showmanship, teamwork and fellowship as well as competition. Entries from several states are expected. Weigh in is from 8:30-10:30 am. A judging contest starts at 11:00 with awards to follow at 12:30. Swine judging contest has 4H and FFA divisions as well as an adult division. Trophies will be awrded to the high individual as the gilt championship drive there iwll be a junior showmanship contest followed by senior showmanship. The day concludes iwth the market barrow show, the championship drive for overall champion and reserve market hog.

      The public is invited to come watch the days activities. Lunch will be by the Brown Coutny 4H Ambassadors
