    2. Choirs – Ridgewater’s Hutchinson and Willmar Campuses- Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson
      7:00 pm – 9:15 pm

      On Thursday, April 23, Ridgewater’s combined choir of students from both Hutchinson and Willmar campuses will perform at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, 335 Main St. S. The 7:00 p.m. performance is free and open to the public.

      The same concert will also hit the stage in Willmar on Tuesday, April 28 at 7 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church at 312 SW Sixth St.

      This year’s theme is “All in the Family,” and will feature songs from childhood and family relationships.

      The choir is directed by Gayle Marcus and accompanied by Judith Zylstra.

      Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 9 a.m. at German Park, 200 North German Street, lower parking lot (easy access from 3rd North Street).


      This event, sponsored by the Heart of New Ulm Project, the City of New Ulm Park and Recreation Department and the New Ulm Bicycle Group, is to celebrate the completion of the designated circle bike route’s linkage and signing. 


      After the short opening celebration, members of the bike group will lead a ride of the Bike Circle Route.  If you can, bring your bike and join in all or part of the ride on New Ulm’s Bike Circle Route.

      Its almost Spring, time to do some house painting, birdhouse that is!! We have the houses, you do the painting

      We will paint a picture together and when you take it home, it will be ready to hang. Show your family what an artist you are!

      Well, Easter is a week away, so let’s get together and paint some wooden eggs. They can decorate your home for years!

    3. “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” – Ridgewater College Stage

      “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” is this year’s spring comedy on the Ridgewater College stage, running Wed., April 29 through Saturday, May 2. Curtains open at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building.

      This comedy by Steve Martin is set in Paris in 1904, where Pablo Picasso and Albert Einstein meet in a bar. Both are nearing amazing ideas when they debate the value of talent and genius.

      The first half of property taxes for real estate and personal property will be due on Friday, May 15th.  Payments postmarked after the due date are subject to penalty.

      Payments may be made in person at the Auditor-Treasurer’s office or the Brown County License Bureau.  A drop box is available in the Law Enforcement Center parking lot to accommodate taxpayers as well.
