      Community Friends Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 417 S. MN St. on Thursday, November 26, 2015 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm

      Volunteers are needed Wednesday from 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm and on Thanksgiving Day from 8:00 am to 5 pm.

      Cash donations are needed to help offset costs for this event.

      Come to enjoy a Christmas Themed Family Fun Night
      at McDonald’s in New Ulm
      Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 4 – 7 pm

      We need everyone to come dine-in or take-out food on this night for 10% of all the
      business from 4 – 7 pm that night will go to support Pro Kinship for Kids programming.
      There will be a special appearance by Santa Claus this night, so bring your
      cameras for a chance to get your picture taken with the jolly guy himself.  Pro
      Kinship for Kids Volunteers will also be running some games like Hole in One, Ring Toss, and
      Peanut Toss for prizes.  There will be some fun Christmas activities to enjoy as well with face
      painting available.  McDonald’s will be running a movie for families to enjoy.  Drawing will be
      held for adults and kids as well as materials available on Pro Kinship for Kids.

      The Crecehfest is an Advent event which features nativity displays in a beautiful lighted setting.  An ordinary church basement becomes an extraordinary setting for displaying Crèches (old, simple elaborate and from around the world), the rest of the Story, depicting the crucifixion, resurrection and ascension of our Lord; and displays of angels, churches and more.  Join us Thursday, December 3from 1:30 – 9:00, Friday December 4 from 1:30 – 7:00, or Saturday December 5 from 1:30 – 5:00.

      Start the Advent season by attending Crechefest 2015.  Your entire family will enjoy this experience.  Children are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Handicap accessible.

      Come buy a Blizzard any time on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the New Ulm Dairy Queen and a portion of the amount you pay for your blizzard will go to fund Pro Kinship for Kids activities.  You will be able to enjoy a great treat and support Pro Kinship at the same time.  Bring your friends, family, or your whole neighborhood for fun!!!

      You can also bring your children or neighborhood children down to Dairy Queen this day for a real feel for what it is like to be part of Pro Kinship for Kids.  Staff and volunteers of Pro Kinship will be available to answer questions, and tell you about the program.  You can experience Pro Kinship activities from 4 – 7:30.  For donations to Pro Kinship for Kids children or any one who is a child at heart can make different craft items to take home with them and play games with us.  Here are just a few things you can do this day:
