Windom Wetland Management District will be hosting a Youth Hunting Rendezvous from 10am-2pm on Saturday, September 6. The event will include several activities that will be fun for the whole family including a Duck Calling Seminar and Youth Calling Contest with Pay Doyscher, where each child will receive a free duck call and prizes will be awarded.
There will also be demonstrations of both pointing and retrieving dogs at work with local dog handlers Chad Klassen, Wendy Krueger and Jim Sehl. Leif Hanson will be doing a demonstration on the field dressing and cooking techniques of game birds.
A free lunch will be provided by the Friends of the Windom Wetland Management District.
