Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Department of Dental Hygiene and area dental professionals are joining a statewide effort to provide free dental care on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 5-6 to children under age 18 who are unable to access needed dental care.
Minnesota State Mankato’s dental hygiene department will provide area children under 18 free dental care on Thursday, Feb. 5 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 6 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the dental clinic on campus in the lower level of Morris Hall.
Appointments are available for children under the age of 18 who are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for cleanings, x-rays, exams, fluoride treatments, and sealants. Those interested in scheduling an appointment should call the dental clinic at 507-389-2147.
Minnesota State Mankato will also be offering free dental exams and x-rays for adults on Friday, Feb. 6 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Appointments are available by calling 507-389-2147.
