The Grand’s 4 Pillars Gallery: Brooke Makela, “Non Conformare”

“This series is an exploration of culture and the human spirit through abstract expression. My concept for this series was to create a meaningful display of bold, vibrant, modern work depicting my understanding of culture and society today: mankind strives to be unique and ‘non-conforming’ to find realization of self; but on this journey, we discover that we are in fact united by our common search for individuality… This idea is reflected in each piece and in my series as a whole.” – Brooke Makela

The exhibit will be on display from September 23rd through October 21st.

      Fall Gallery Hours: Mon – Fri, 10am – 4pm
