The University of MN Extension is conducting a Summer Diary Field Day at Lax Dairy in Brown County owned by Steve and Jeanette Lax and Mike and Cheyenne Lax of Sleepy Eye. Lax dairy is a two generation dairy working together. They have recently expanded their herd to 215 cows housed in sand bedded freestalls.
The Summer Field Day will be held on Wednesday, August 1, from 11am-1pm, with registration staring at 10:30am. RSVP to Heidi Sellner at 507-276-3595 as a lunch will be served.
