We are looking for young people 18-35 who want to play sailors and nurses on a South Pacific Island and who want to have fun!

The New Ulm Actors Community Theatre, NUACT, continues the audition process. Three audition dates for 18 or more adults roles and 12 children’s roles (age 6-18) will be held Monday, June 10, at 7pm; Wednesday, June 12, at 7pm and June 15 at 1pm at the Martin Luther College. Callbacks, if necessary, will occur after regular auditions on June 15.

Four performances are planned at 7:30pm on Thursday, July 25; Friday, July 26; and Saturday, July 28 and 2pm on Sunday, July 28. All shows will be in the 900 seat DAC (former Middle School) auditorium, which is air conditioned. Reserved seating will go on sale after June 15.

People who audition will read material from the script, learn then sing musical numbers from the show and practice a simple dance routine. Nothing to prepare. Everyone who loves musical theatre is strongly encouraged to participate on stage as performers or off stage working with costumes, sets, properties, publicity. The show is still seeking a choreographer.
