Each year, one week before Thanksgiving, the National Coalition for the Homeless and the National Student Campaign Against Hunger and Homelessness cosponsor Nationa Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. The food you donate will go to a nearby food service center, which will distribute it to those in your community who need it most.
