Bring the kids for some frontier fun at the W.W. Mayo House on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 25, 26 and 27. Through games and activities, family will be introduced first-hand to daily life 150 years ago.
Tour the Mayo House for an interactive experience that has special emphasis on the life of frontier children – their chores, toys and games. In the parlor, challenge a family member to a game of Ninepins or various other 1800′s period games and make a whizzing whirlgig to take home; in the kitchen, try your hand at household chores; in the family room, practice your letters and numbers assigned as schoolwork.
The W.W. Mayo House is located at 118 N. Main Street in LeSueur. Questions, contact 507-665-3250.
