The Church of the Japanese Martyrs in Leavenworth is holding their Annual Parish Dinner and Festival on Sunday, July 29. They are located 10 miles southwest of Sleepy Eye on County Highway 24.
The day will begin with a 9:30am mass, followed by a buffet style pork loin dinner. Dinner is served in the air-conditioned church hall and is available from 11am-1:30-pm. Take out orders available. Menu includes: pork loin, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, cole slaw, beverage and ice cream. Ticket prices are adults/$9; ages 6-12/$5; ages 5 and under/$1.
There will be live music, raffles, games for all ages, bingo, a country store, kids pedal pull at 2pm, food stand and refreshments. A softball tournament takes place the entire weekend.
