This year, the annual meeting of the Brown County Senior Citizens will be held in conjunction with a special program sponsored by CAST featuring historian David Jones presenting on the topic of Apollo: Why We Went to the Moon.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 7, at the New Ulm Community/Senior Center, 600 North German, New Ulm, with doors opening at 10am. Pre-program music will welcome those attending.
In addition, those attending are invited to enjoy a noontime meal of beef tips and gravy, mashed potatoes, broccoli & cauliflower, plus dessert and beverage offered through the LSS Senior Nutrition Services, Inc. The meal will be served at 11:50am; anyone 60 or older is asked to contribute $3.85 or whatever your budget allows. Advance reservations are necessary and can be made by calling 359-2243 no later than November 5.
