Brown County Pheasants Forever is offering a mentored youth for kids between the ages of 11 and 15. The hunt will take place September 15, starting at 8am and wrap up sometime early afternoon.
It will be held at River Ridge Gun Club near Courtland. The kids will need a Firearms Safety Certificate to participate. They will get to hunt pheasants and shoot on the Sporting Clay Course. There will be instructors on hand to help and give shooting tips. Parents are welcome and encouraged to participate. Lunch will be served. There is no charge for this hunt.
Participants will need: 1. Firearms Safety Certificate; 2. Blaze orange clothing; 3. Gun and ammo (guns will be provided if needed).
The hunt is being assisted and sponsored by: Sioux Trails Deer Hunters; Isaac Walton League and Der Deutsche Long Beards (NWTF)
