Nominations are being accepted for the Brown County Outstanding Senior Citizen recognition for 2012.
The recognition if based largely on the variety, quality and quantity of community service performed by the nominee after the age of 65, as well as lives affected and the scope of the volunteer involvement.
Senior citizens who had reached the age of 70 by June 1 can be nominated. They will be recognized at the Brown County Fair in August. To obtain an official nomination form, contact your local senior citizen group or Bob Apitz at Brown County Family Services. Nominations will be accepted through July 2.
