DESCRIPTION:<p>Gustavus Adolphus College will host its 18th Annual student-
 led Building Bridges Conference on Saturday\, March 9. This year&#8217\;s 
 conference &#8220\;Sentenced for Life: Confronting the Calamity of Mass In
 carceration&#8221\; will provide attendees the opportunity to engage in di
 alogue about the often ignored issue of injustice in the American prison s
 ystem.</p>\n<p>This year&#8217\;s keynote speakers include scholar and pol
 itical activist Dr. Angela Davis and Dr. Marc Lamont Hill\, activist\, pol
 itical commentator and one of the coutry&#8217\;s leading hip-hop generati
 on intellectuals.</p>\n<p>Schedule: 9am registration at C. Charles Jackson
  Campus Center</p>\n<p>The conference is open to the public\, but tickets 
 are required and may be purchased in advance at gustavustickets.com. Ticke
 ts are $10 per person\, but are complimentary for college students\, high
