New Ulm Police find stolen items from Cathedral burglary 17 Sep 18

The New Ulm Police were dispatched to a residence in New Ulm Saturday morning after the homeowner discovered two black trash bags near their garage. Inside the trash bags were items believed to be from the burglary at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity that was reported last Thursday. Responding officers confirmed the items were from the burglary. The items were sampled for possible DNA. A canvas of the neighborhood was conducted and this investigation remains active. Surveillance video outside of the church shows a white male and female in their late teens or early 20′s entering the church from the alley. There is physical, digital, and DNA evidence that is being analyzed in reference to this case. There is still a reward of up to $500 for information that leads to the conviction of these two suspects. All information can remain confidential.
