Mankato man/tennis coach charged with criminal sexual conduct 13 Sep 18

A Mankato man has been charged with felony criminal sexual conduct in the third and fourth degree after an occurrence that happened in 2017 with a minor. According to the criminal complaint, 20-year-old Kieran Townsend was an instructor at a tennis camp when he drove a 15-year-old Le Sueur girl home last summer and began kissing her. The victim said Townsend inappropriately touched her a few days later. Townsend could face up to 25 years in prison if convicted of both counts.
