Springfield Golf Course and Club House sustain major flood damages 19 Jul 18

Following the flood from July 4th, the Springfield Golf Course and club house sustained major damage. Three holes on the course were destroyed, two were damaged, including the ramps on both sides of the bridge over the big Cottonwood River. The club house was flooded with approximately three feet of water. The damage to the club house has been assessed by an insurance adjuster and an official from the Department of Health inspected the property and advised on the upcoming cleanup and restoration. The board of directors and club members are considering various restoration options for the club house.
