Redwood County flood damage nearing $3 million 21 Jul 18

The damage estimated for Redwood County is nearing $3 million in public uninsured infrastructure. The Federal Emergency Management Agency is scheduled to come and learn more about the damage. Keith Berndt, Redwood County Engineer, also gave an update on the public infrastructure damage and said that there was notable damage to approximately 30 county road locations. While most of the county’s roadways have been repaired, many still require additional work in the future.

    Flood damage restoration procedures can vary from one region to the next. But overall, drying it out, getting rid of contaminants, sanitizing and using proper biocides to kill unwanted bacteria is across the board.
