Arlington City Council explores options for new industrial park 12 Jun 18

The Arlington City Council informally agreed to authorize City Administrator Pat Melvin and Economic Development Authority Director Amy Newsom to explore options for a new Industrial Park. Around 6 years ago the city purchased 22 acres for a new Industrial Park on the southwest part of Arlington. The land has no access road or services. The cost to construct access and bring utilities to the land has been estimated to cost around $2.1 million dollars. Rather than spend that amount of money, the EDA felt it was best to explore other purchase options with nearby access and services.
