Former New Ulm woman sentenced for child endangerment 25 Apr 18

A former New Ulm resident was sentenced on two counts of child endangerment Tuesday at Nicollet County District Court. 45-year-old Wendy Sorenson will serve 30 days in prison with four days credited for time served and 335 days stayed for 2 years. Sorenson will be under supervised probation for two years. Sorenson was sentenced in relation to charges against Robert Sorenson who was sentenced to 9 years in prison for criminal sexual conduct for abusing two girls; one under the age of 18 and the other under the age of 16.
