Sandy Hartley – March Hometown Hero 14 Mar 18

860 AM KNUJ/SAM 107-3 and your New Ulm Hy Vee announce this month’s Hometown Hero:   Sandy Hartley of Lafayette.  Sandy seems to be there for anyone who needs something without them asking.   She runs errands and helps with whatever they need.   At one time she provided an elderly woman a ride to church every Sunday, took her to doctor appointments, cleaned her apartment and made her meals.      When someone has the flu she checks to see if they need anything when she’s going to the store.    Sandy and her husband Charlie have hosted several foreign exchange students and periodically invite neighbors and friends for a delicious meal and recently had more than 3 tables full of people.  Our latest Hometown Hero Sandy Hartley of Lafayette . She’ll receive a Hy Vee gift card and be honored at a luncheon this fall.
