McLeod County child abuse suspect faces jury 01 Mar 18

A Glencoe man will face a jury in March for charges of first degree assault after he caused a major brain injury to an infant by shaking the baby. According to the Criminal complaint, Glencoe Police were dispatched to a residence where an infant was found unresponsive with shallow breathing. 23-year-old Timothy Miller allegedly told police he became frustrated with the child and shook the child approximately five times when he saw the child’s eyes roll back in his head and the child started having breathing problems. An examination was done at Children’s Hospital in St. Paul where it was determined the baby had suffered a massive brain injury. A jury trial is scheduled to begin March 27th.
