St. Peter High School planning a walkout to show solidarity for victims of school shooting 24 Feb 18

The administrators at St. Peter High School want the students to have a walkout on March 14th. They are helping students facilitate plans to leave school for 17 minutes one month after 17 students who were shot to death at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. St. Peter High School Senior Josiah Johnson is spearheading the school’s walkout plans. Johnson would also like 17 students prepare to say something to honor the 17 people who were killed. Johnson had heard about other high school students planning a walkout to protest gun violence around the country and was inspired. He spoke with his school Principal Annette Engeldinger and together they came up with a game plan.
