Electrical fire damages Waseca church 05 Dec 17

An electrical fire in a Waseca Church has damaged the church and leaves the congregation looking for other places to hold holiday celebrations. Reverend Cary Larson posted on Facebook that the fire at Christ the King Lutheran Church was contained to one office, but the building filled with smoke. Plans for Christmas related services will be determined after a fire marshal’s investigation is complete. No one was injured in the fire. Worshipers noticed smoke coming from an old refrigerator where floral arrangements are kept. So far, no events at the church have been cancelled.
