New Ulm Farm City Hub Club announces Service to Ag award winner 17 Nov 17

The New Ulm Farm City Hub Club has announced the 2018 Service to Agriculture award. Michele Schroeder of rural Courtland will be recognized at the club’s annual banquet and meeting in January. Schroeder grew up on a dairy farm in McLeod County and has been involved in ag-related organizations in both Nicollet and Brown Counties. She became the Hub Club’s youngest president at age 29. Over the years Schroeder has been a princess coordinator for Nicollet County Dairy Association, board member for the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce, president of Brown County Farm Bureau, an assistant for the state Princess Kay program, an adult advisor for the Minnesota Junior Holstein Association, secretary of the Immanuel Lutheran School and recently became a leader of Milford 4H.
