Holiday gas prices 29 Nov 17

The experts predict a mixed bag when it comes to gas prices in Minnesota this holiday season.  Triple-A Minnesota’s Gail Weinholzer says gas prices are higher than they’ve been the last two holidays.  However she says they are noticing a downward trend and it is expected that prices will decline between now and the holidays.  Weinholzer says year-end gas prices tend to be cheaper due to a drop off in fall gasoline demand.  But this year, that was outweighed by two majore hurricanes, steady consumer demand and growth in gas exports.
