Sleepy Eye minister released on bail after charged with fleeing police 04 Oct 17

A Sleepy eye minister was released on bail Tuesday after his initial court appearance for charges of felony fleeing police in a motor vehicle and misdemeanors DWI and two counts of failure to notify the owner of damaged property. Judge Robert Docherty set 36-year-old Clint Evan’s bail at $30,000. He was released from jail Tuesday on his own recognizance with conditions which include no alcohol or chemical use and a 10 p.m. curfew. An omnibus hearing was set for Tuesday, October 31st. According to the criminal complaint, Evans caused three crashes and left the scene Friday night in New Ulm before taking police on a pursuit.
