Man accused of video taping in locker room turned over to immigration enforcement 07 Oct 17

The Eden Valley man who was initially accused of taking a video of boys in the Hutchinson Aquatic Center locker room may be heading back to Mexico soon. It was confirmed recently that 22-year-old Eduardo Romero was in custody of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement after the dismissal of his charges. He was charged in early August with interfering with the privacy of a minor. Police say on August 2nd Romero was using an iPad while in the locker room of the Hutchinson Aquatic Center and recorded a Snapchat video. Romero’s family told the Hutchinson Leader that Romero has a student visa which he used to attend Ridgewater College. But his most recent admission into the United States was a visitor which he overstayed.
