Belle Plaine man injured in motorcycle accident 20 Oct 17

A Belle Plaine man received life-threatening injuries in a crash at the intersection of Highway 169 and Scott County Road 59 Sunday afternoon. The state patrol says 40-year-old Christopher Allen St. Martin was on a motorcycle on Highway 169 when a Ford Taurus driven by 75-year-old Edward Merle Blackstad of Sleepy Eye pulled out in front of Martin. The motocycle struck the side of the Taurus. Martin was t ransported to North Memorial Medical Center after the crash where he was listed in critical condition. The driver and passengers in the Taurus sustained non-life threatening injuries.
