Pork Chops on Rice – submitted by Ruth Klossner of Lafayette

6 pork chops, 3/4″ thick
salt and pepper to taste
1 1/3 c packaged pre-cooked rice
1 c orange juice
1 (10 oz.) can condensed chicken rice soup

Brown pork chops in heavy skillet, season with salt and pepper. Place rice in 12 x 7″ baking dish. Pour orange juice over rice. Arrange browned pork chops on rice. Pour chicken soup over all. Cover, bake at 350° for 45 min. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes. Serves 6.
