Jellyroll Chocolate Cake -submitted by Marlys Schuette of Winthrop

2 c all purpose flour
2 c sugar

1 stick margarine
4 T cocoa
Add 1 c water after it boils. Pour liquid on dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Add two unbeaten eggs, 1 t soda, 1 t vanilla, 1/2 c buttermilk (vinegar and milk will do, just let it curdle). Bake in greased jellyroll pan for 20-25 min at 350°.

Chocolate Chip Frosting
1 1/3 c sugar
1/3 c milk
1/3 c butter

Boil 30 seconds. Turn off heat and add 1/2 c chocolate chips. Stir until melted. Let cool. (Don’t cool to get glossier frosting, just spread)
