Dassel-Cokato teen fighting for life following reaction to peanut allergy 20 Sep 17

A Dassel-Cokato High School student is fighting for his life following a reaction caused by a peanut allergy. Fifteen-year-old Jacob MacDonald has been at a Twin Cities children’s hospital since Saturday. The family reported that MacDonald had a severe allergic reaction after eating a cooking containing peanuts Saturday night. The reaction caused lung and cardiac trauma. MacDonald was airlifted to a hospital and placed on life support. On Monday, MacDonald’s football teammates traveled to the hospital to offer their support.
