Crock Pot Philly Steak Sandwich Meat

1/2 large onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 – 2 lbs. beef sirloin, cut into 2 inch strips
1/2 t ground cumin
1/2 t ground black pepper
1/2 t chili powder
1/2 t onion powder
1/2 t garlic powder
1/4 t paprika
1/4 t dried thyme
1/4 t dried marjoram
1/4 t dried basil
2 T bourbon whiskey
1 t soy sauce
1 t prepared mustard
1 t Worcestershire sauce
1/2 t Franks hot sauce
1 (12 oz.) can of beer
2 beef bouillon cubes

Spread onion and garlic into bottom of a slow cooker, layer beef, then seasonings and top with bourbon, sauces, mustard and beer. Add beef bouillon cubes and cook on low, stirring occasionally, for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.

To serve, saute sliced onions and green peppers, put meat on bun and top w/ sauteed veggies and Swiss or provolone cheese. Leave open faced and broil until cheese melts.
