Joe McCabe of St. James – August Hometown Hero 09 Aug 17

860 AM KNUJ/SAM 107.3 and your New Ulm Hy Vee announce this month’s Hometown Hero: Joe McCabe of St. James.  After he retired as City Administrator, he helped fill-in at the  Chamber of Commerce. For years, has delivered food for the Meals on Wheels Program.  Joe has been involved with the VFW and other Watonwan County Veteran Groups.  He was instrumental in bringing the Vietnam War Traveling Memorial Wall to St. James as well as memorials for the Forgotten Korean War Veterans and Veterans of the  Gulf, Iraq and Afghan Wars.   Our latest Hometown Hero: Joe McCabe of St. James. He’ll receive a HyVee gift card and be honored at a luncheon this fall
