Dill Onion Ringsfrom the Doris Aufderheide archives – February 1999

Thinly slice one large sweet onion (Vidalia, Red Onions, Yellow Sweet) separate into rings. Pack into a small glass jar.

COMBINE: 1/2 c sugar, 2 t salt, 1/2 t dill weed, 1/2 c white vinegar, 1/4 c water. Heat to boiling, cool and pour over rings. Cover and refrigerate.
