Sunday’s storms packed a punch with several counties being hit with high winds, damaging hail and lighting. The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Warning for Blue Earth County around 10:30. There were 2 confirmed tornados; one touched down 2 miles northwest of Lake Crystal just before 10:30 p.m. Another tornado was confirmed by law enforcement in Judson just five minutes later. No damage reports have been verified with either tornado. A suspected tornado tore a roof off a hog barn in Courtland and a tree was snapped in Sibley County. Baseball size hail was reported in Winthrop and Lafayette with power lines downed in Lafayette. Tennis ball size hail was resported in cities in Sibley County.

Two tornadoes were confirmed in Sunday nights storm. One was located 2 miles northwest of Lake Crystal. Another was confirmed by law enforcement near Judson.
