The Courtland City Council recently approved new park equipment at a new park Red Shoe Park. The park is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Red Shoe Drive and Dobie Drive. During the June council meeting, Mayor Al Poehler provided a rough draft of what he thought should be included in the park. Wayne Braulick has spearheaded the effort and was given a budget of $20,0000. Braulick’s proposed plan includes a border made from 9-inch plastic, pea rock, a two-bay swing seat, a teeter totter, a two seat bouncer, a frong spring bouncer, a three-panel climber and a large play structure with tubes and slides.
