New Ulm man charged with prostitution 15 Jun 17

A 60-year-old New Ulm man has been sentenced after being charged earlier this year with 5th degree misdemeanor prostitution. Mark J. Spencer has been sentenced to 90 days in the Brown County Jail, stayed for one year supervised probation. Conditions of his probation include a diagnostic mental health assessment and therapy. According to the criminal complaint, the victim reported she was doing a photo session with Spencer when he put his hand up the backside of her shirt and tugged at her pants. Later he sent her a text message suggesting he would pay her $100 to have sex.
