Minneopa State Park sees a boost in attendance 19 Jun 17

Minneopa State Park has seen a boost in attendance and park officials attribute that to the bison range and its historic waterfalls. Saturday, June 10th, drew crowds to both the bison range and the waterfalls for Get Outdoors Day when admission at all Minnesota State Parks were free. Minneopa State Park is located five miles west of Mankato in Blue Earth County and comprises 2600 acres off of Highway 68. There are over 200,000 people living within 50 miles of the park.
