Man with Mankato ties text family from trunk of car 07 Jun 17

Police in Iowa are searching for a Mankato native who sent texts to his family from the truck of his car yesterday saying he had been kidnapped. The family of 37-year-old Michael David Graham of Coralville, Iowa reported him missing Monday. He sent text messages to his family saying he was forced into the truck of his car outside his workplace. Police say the last known location of Graham’s cell phone was near Keota, which is about an hour southwest of Iowa City around 1 p.m. yesterday afternoon. He d rives a black 2016 Volkswagen Jetta with Iowa license plate ELL 592. The North Liberty Police Department is asking anyone with information about Graham’s whereabouts to contact them or call 911. Graham is a graduate of Mankato East High School.
