Buffalo man accused of assaulting New Ulm minor 16 Jun 17

A 26-year-old Buffalo man is in the Scott County Jail for criminal sexual conduct and soliciting a minor. Zachary James Wiltry now faces the same charges in Brown County. According to the criminal complaint, a 15-year-old girl from New Ulm told authorities her and Wiltry had been speaking on social media and agreed to meet after school in April. The victim said he sexually assaulted her in the back seat of his vehicle. New Ulm Police contacted the girl after Shakopee Police advised Wiltry is in jail on suspicion of assaulting a 15-year-old girl in Shakopee. Wiltry has been convicted of soliciting a child through electronic means in Wright county in 2015 and Sherburne County in 2012.
